Jonas Sæther Markussen is a PhD Student at Simula Research Laboratory. He completed his master’s thesis on evaluating low-latency modifications to TCP in 2014. His research interests are distributed processing, computer networks, and high-speed interconnects.
At Simula, he is currently involved in the Unified PCIe I/O project in collaboration with Dolphin Interconnect Solutions. His work is focused on new ways to use Non-Transparent Bridges (NTBs) in order to optimize data transfer paths and memory accesses by exploiting the NTB’s unique potential for mapping memory.
